New York State Trauma Centers offer a variety of injury prevention programs for schools, civic organizations, individuals or other groups.  Types of programs include:

 

  • Bicycle Safety and helmet fittings

  • Home safety programs

  • Child Passenger Safety

  • Elderly safety programs

  • “Traumaroo” Safety Programs

  • Burn prevention

  • Pedestrian and skating safety programs

  • Firearm safety

  • Playground safety and design assistance

  • Water safety programs 

  • Fall prevention

  • Safe skiing programs    

  • Baby Safe programs

  • Violence avoidance programs

  • Accidental poisoning programs

  • Safety in school programs
