Gastroenterology

Frederick Fallick, M.D.

Department of Internal Medicine

Director , Division of Gastroenterology

Dr. Fallick received his M.D. degree from The Chicago Medical School in 1988. He did his residency and fellowship training at Winthrop-University Hospital on Long Island, NY. Dr. Fallick published several papers during his training, including one in the prestigious journal Gastroenterology. He also authored a book chapter on Radiation Colitis in a textbook of gastroenterology. He is board certified in Internal Medicine and Gastroenterology. He is one of only a few physicians board certified in Clinical Nutrition in New York State. He came to St. Barnabas Hospital in 2004 and now directs the Division of Gastroenterology.

 

Carl Guillaume, M.D.

Dr. Guillaume was born in Haiti. He graduated from Queens College with a B.A. in Chemistry, and received his medical degree from New York Medical College in 1992. He completed his residency training in Internal Medicine at St. Vincents Hospital and Medical Center in Manhattan, N.Y., and did his Fefllowship training in Gastroenterology at The Brooklyn Hospital Center. Dr. Guillaume has been with St. Barnabas Hospital since completing his fellowship training in June of 1999. He is well loved by his patients and is highly regarded by his colleagues for his clinical and procedural skills. He is fluent in Creole, French and Spanish.

 

Andrea N. Culliford, M.D.

Dr. Culliford is a Gastroenterologist in the Division of Medicine at St. Barnabas Hospital. She graduated from the University of Pennsylvania with a degree in European History.  For medical school, Dr. Culliford attended the University of Miami in her home state of Florida and graduated in 1997.  Dr. Culliford completed internship, residency and fellowship at the New York Presbyterian Hospital – Columbia University Medical Center in Internal Medicine and Gastroenterology.  She is currently board certified in both Internal Medicine and Gastroenterology.  Dr. Culliford’s clinical interests include Celiac Disease, Irritable Bowel Syndrome, and Colon Cancer screening.
