patients and families. They are there to help find solutions to
problems, concerns, and unmet needs.
The Patient
Relations Department works with all areas in the hospital.
Our patient
representatives:

the patient’s perceptions of problems

patient cope with hospitalization

Encourage
patients to become active participants in their own healthcare

Interpret
hospital policies, procedures and services

Educate
staff and patients on the patient’s bill of rights and advance

resource for available interpretive services, including sign
