The St.
Barnabas Nursing Department delivers comprehensive,
compassionate, patient and family-centered quality care in a
manner that is sensitive to our culturally diverse community.
As
valuable members of the health care team, nurses are involved
in planning, assessing and implementing the individualized
care of each patient. The nursing department understands that
the patient is part of a family and takes every opportunity to
include the family in the patient’s plan of care, both during
the hospital stay and upon discharge.
To keep
our nursing staff current and improve our ability to meet the
changing healthcare needs of our patients, we offer extensive
continuing education classes. We also offer training courses
that promote individual professional growth, which benefits
staff and their patients. Our commitment to quality care is in
the forefront at all times.
